In 2018, Dr. Williams launched the first, video-based website to teach women about breast cancer and how to get better quality cancer care in their own community. This not for profit outreach is his passion and separate from his clinical practice. All the content is free and the initial 60 videos are searchable on www.YouTube.com. So far, there have been 1.5 million video views and the Breast Cancer School for Patients (BCS) has been featured in US News & World Reports and Dr. Williams has been interviewed by news stations (example) across the country in promotion of this breakthrough patient educational platform.
